Overview
This is an invitation-only ride for the NZ motorcycle industry and selected motorcycle club members. It is the ultimate one day guided off-road bike ride. Over 160km is covered as the invited riders navigate the eastern and northern boundaries of the Waiouru training area. Check out the photos from 2008.

Outline
- Arrive and overnight in the Waiouru Army barracks (not compulsory to arrive the night before.
- Hearty Army cooked breakfast followed by a riders briefing.
- Ride in two guided groups (sorted by fitness and ability).
- The ride follows the eastern and northern boundaries of the 63,000 hectare Waiouru training area. Distance is approximately 160km.
- Fuel, extra food, water, nibbles etc will be delivered to three locations during the day.
- A cooked lunch will be provided deep in the Army training area.
- Bike wash facilities are provided at the end of the ride.
- Riders can head straight home or choose to overnight in the barracks and return home Friday morning.
Who can attend?
This is a unique day out for the off road motorcycle industry. Those invited to attend are:
- Motorcycle importers and distributors
- Owners/staff of motorcycle shops
- Owners/staff of motorcycle accessory importers, distributors and shops
- A maximum of two people from each motorcycle club
- Offlimits volunteers
- Specially invited friends
- Waiouru supporters and helpers
- Motorcycling industry media
This is a once a year opportunity for the motorcycling industry stalwarts to get together, ride land that is only opened up once a year and experience the uniqueness of the 63,000 hectare Army training area at Waiouru.
